“Plastic Pipes” The Non-Corrosive, Terrain Resistant, Cost Effective Water System - FREE

Drinking water infrastructure earned a “D” grade for over a decade in the American Society of Civil Engineers’ Report Card for America’s Infrastructure, before increasing slightly to a C- in 2021.  Despite this modest improvement, significant work remains, and decision-makers are especially focused on eliminating lead service pipelines, which can lead to serious illness and even death. Cautionary tales like Flint have helped governments prioritize fixing our water infrastructure, and cost-effective solutions exist to modernize our existing pipeline system.

Thermoplastic Pipes – PVCO & HDPE

Combining innovative engineering design and years of experience in PVC Pipe manufacturing results, JM Eagle’s Ultra Blue PVCO Pipes bring higher performance, lighter weight, and a more cost-effective pressure pipe for force main systems. They are tested to meet or exceed AWWA C909 or ASTM F1483 specification requirements. Like conventional PVC, no lining, wrapping, coating, or cathodic protection is needed to prevent galvanic corrosion.

  • PVCO is molecularly oriented PVC resulting in a wall that is stronger than conventional PVC at nearly half the thickness. The thinner and stronger pipe wall allows for a larger inside diameter for improved performance and flow rates.
  • HDPE water and sewer pipe’s physical properties make it applicable to open-trench, horizontal directional drilling, pipe-bursting and slip-lining installations. It can be manufactured with the color striping to identify application. It is available in IPS (iron pipe size) and DIPS (ductile iron pipe size)
