Future-Proofing water lines with PVCO, the seismic resistant pipe - FREE

SPONSORED WEBINAR provided by JM Eagle (http://www.jmeagle.com)

Combining innovative engineering design and years of experience in PVC Pipe manufacturing results, JM Eagle’s Ultra Blue PVCO Pipes bring higher performance, lighter weight, and a more cost-effective pressure pipe for force main systems. They are tested to meet or exceed AWWA C909 or ASTM F1483 specification requirements. Like conventional PVC, no lining, wrapping, coating, or cathodic protection is needed to prevent galvanic corrosion.

PVCO is molecularly oriented PVC resulting in a wall that is stronger than conventional PVC at nearly half the thickness. The thinner and stronger pipe wall allow for a larger inside diameter for improved performance and flow rates.

Improvements in design and physical properties due to the special manufacturing process include:

  • Increased Hoop Strength
  • Greater Impact Strength
  • Enhanced Cyclic Fatigue Resistance
  • Lighter Weight
  • Resistance to Seismic Activity
  • Greater Notch Resistance Minimizing Crack Propagation
