Dr. Jesse D. Kamm, PMP, A.M. ASCE

Jesse has spent the past 20+ years working in leadership positions in architecture, engineering, and construction management.  He is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has taught project management at as a tenure track university faculty and as an invited speaker at industry workshops. Dr. Kamm has a passion for the built environment and routinely serves as an expert consultant and project manager for construction and development projects incl. funding arrangements, project management, project structuring, architecture, engineering, and civil infrastructure. He has extensive experience in immersive and entertainment environments for non-profit and faith-based organizations but has also been involved in unique commercial projects including branded/themed environments (theme park and non-theme park), hospitality, retail, community partnership arrangements, medical centers, senior living, and work/live/play communities.

PM Tip: As engineers progress in their respective disciplines they become experts in the technical. As they transition to project management their role becomes less about the technical and entirely about the people and the process. Sometime this yields frustration since the technical is largely what attracted them to the field in the first place.

natale.jpgJoe Natale, P.E., M.ASCE, Senior Project Manager, DVRPC

Joe is a Senior Project Manager at the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission. He manages 10+ design teams and assists municipalities with navigating the PennDOT project delivery process.

PM Tip: Set expectations for a team at the beginning of a project, that way everyone's on the same page and avoids misunderstandings.

*** You must be an ASCE Member to participate.
