Communication should be simple but, for a number of reasons, often proves difficult in practice. This webinar will explore how to navigate these difficult moments, particularly in professional settings. It will explore what makes conversations difficult and provide recommendations for approaching them as both the initiator and the receiver. With a little empathy, every difficult conversation can become a step toward positive change.
Presenter: Jesse Gormley, PE, ENV SP, M.ASCE , is a structural engineer with Pennoni in their Philadelphia, PA, headquarters. He is also the current President of the Philadelphia Section Younger Member Forum, a member of ASCE's Program and Finance Committee, and a former member of CYM. Through his participation with CYM, Jesse became passionate about professional development and communication.
