Bridging the Critical Skills Gap in Construction Industry

Over 50% of all engineers will advance from pure design functions to project management, and all engineers must at some point become involved in construction contract administration. The webinar provides valuable advice for civil engineers in management to improve project performance in a difficult and highly competitive labor market. This discussion will refer attendees to coursework offered as part of the Construction Engineering Certificate Program offered by ASCE.

Attendees will learn about critical skills and capabilities missing from most undergraduate civil engineering degree programs and how ASCE’s certificate program could address these gaps to be competitive in the current marketplace.
