Construction of the White Pass and Yukon Route Railroad

The White Pass and Yukon Route (WPYR) Railway was constructed between 1898 and 1900 to bring miners and supplies to the Klondike gold fields. The talk will describe the construction and other aspects of the railway, which was recognized as an ASCE/CSCE Civil Engineering Historical Landmark in 1994.
