    Indeed, a leader's accomplishment excels when he or she is able to ride over the temptation of being bossy. Thanks Tirza for bringing out the issue.


    Here are some lines from my
    Leadership and Management piece: . . . A leader should be strong to articulate ideas and visions to arouse emotions in his or her favor to make a difference – in resolving the conflicts of interests and demands as an accomplisher – not as a boss. To quote President Theodore Roosevelt (1858 – 1919): People ask the difference between a leader and a boss. The leader leads, and the boss drives. A leader is at best when he or she avoids being bossy – because bossy attitude creates distance and invites indignation, envy and unwelcome responses from team members and associates . . .
