I'm constantly working with new technologies in the energy industry. These advances are made by the need to make society sustainable, resilient, and safe for both present and future circumstances. ASCE released Future World Vision – Infrastructure Reimagined to talk about some of the challenges we will face as emerging leaders in civil engineering. It's looking into the future to see how best prepare for the design needs ahead. The infrastructure we build can last decades so I think it's very practical to start thinking about the future now.In the ASCE News Article, Reprogram How You Think About infrastructure, Mikhail Chester talks about the importance of making infrastructure more agile and more flexible.
I wanted to start a discussion on the Future of Infrastructure. How YOU as an engineer would like to reimagine infrastructure as we know it?
