I am a civil engineering student in Ghana, Africa. I want to do an internship in USA to broaden my skill set and to experience a new culture. I am a second year/sophomore with no work experience. How may I go about it?
Can anyone be able to help me get one?

    Hi Raymond,

I recommend that you watch the following Youtube video about 7 Ways to Find a Civil Engineering Internship here: https://youtu.be/CG_TPIJ3Q1w . For your first internship, Mat mentions in the video using sites like https://www.monster.com/ to apply to a bunch of different opportunities.

I also personally recommend reaching out to faculty you recently had classes with. They should be able to direct you to some of their professional connections in the United States and give you a good personal recommendation along the way!

Hope this helps! If you have any additional questions, feel free to let me know.

    Sincerely,
    Danielle
