Reading Branch Members, Guests, & Supporters:
I am extremely honored to have your trust and support to serve as the President of the ASCE Reading Branch. I have been active in ASCE since my freshman year of college at Villanova University. Starting as one of two Freshman Class Representatives in the Villanova University Student Chapter, I learned the value that ASCE's network provides. Over the next few years, I rose in leadership, and suddenly found myself involved at the society level. Most notably, I served as the President (chairperson) of ASCE's Student Presidential Group (SPG) and was the first student member to officially chair an ASCE committee named in the organization's governing documents. I've now served on more committees, working groups, task committees, and boards within ASCE than I count, and I've enjoyed it all.
As I continue serving in this role within the Reading Branch, I am excited to help rebuild, redefine, and reenergize our group. I can't do this alone, and will need new people to step forward and be a part of this journey. I am also grateful for the leadership and service of my colleagues on the Board of Direction of the Reading Branch.
In case you haven't already gotten the idea, I bleed ASCE blue and I'm ready to dedicate my time and energy into the Reading Branch!
Thank you! Stay safe!
Sincerely,
Andrew C. Kline, EIT, M.ASCE
Reading Branch President
