I am working on a project based on Design Code compliance checking for manually designed Structural Elements. So far I am using Robot Structural analysis Professional Software (Autodesk Product) to check my building elements for Non compliance to IS codes. But Robot software has its Limitations.

Can anyone kindly suggest better open source Structural engineering BIM softwares which is capable of running a complete  Design Code Compliance check for models of concrete structural elements with Reinforcements?

    Hi Mahesh,
Why don't you try sap2000. I haven' seen a problem not being solved with that. Hell of a software!
Actually, it is vital that you have access to a full and valid version of it.
    Hope this helps.

I believe, since you're using Autodesk, you're dealing with Revit, am I right?
If that's the case, CSi you softwares can get the job done as you can export your model to ETABS or SAP2000 recent versions.
