UAVs are an ideal platform because of the ability to collect data and monitor sites in a repeatable, fast, and safe way. The presentation introduces how the Internet of Things will change the way transportation professionals operate, the role that UAVs will play in various job sites from monitoring to surveying, and how commercial UAVs function within the current US laws.
